- Hot Air Ballooning is a weather dependent activity
- Should your flight be cancelled by us due to unsuitable weather or other safety or operational reasons, you will be able to reschedule or request a full refund for up to 36 months from the date on which you made your original booking cannot be altered or cancelled within 72 hours of your flight.
- A cancellation fee will apply to refunds prior to flight date. See Terms and Conditions for full details.
- This activity is not suitable for pregnant people
- This balloon basket does not have a door. You will need to be able to climb aboard the basket using foot holds cut in to the side of the basket in order to participate in this adventure activity.
- If you or a member of your party is unable to stand for 1 hour or climb aboard the basket, please take a look at our Hunter Valley Accessible Flight option here.
- You will need to be at the nominated pick-up point for your transfer 10 minutes prior to the appointed pick-up time as the Transfer Driver is not able to wait and you will miss your flight if you are late.

It’s been on the bucket list for a while so was so nice to tick it off. All the crew were so kind, friendly and made you feel comfortable straight away. We had a smooth flight and the views are incredible!
Emi was our pilot and loved all the fun and interesting facts about hot air ballooning along the way.
The breakfast after was great too. Totally recommend if you’re thinking of doing it , it did not disappoint!
Would recommend wearing shoes you don’t mind getting a little wet, the grass can be dewy in the early morning so a little damp on the feet.

Even helping pack up the balloon was a lot of fun, though clearly Simon works the hardest in getting it all into the trailer 😅

I bought a surprise voucher for my husband's 50th nearly four years ago. Covid restrictions, work commitments two surgeries, time for convalescence plus a hospital stay saw us postpone our flight several times. The Balloon Aloft office was kind, helpful and understanding to these circumstances. Yesterday, at last, we could lift off. And it was....amazing.
Very well organised, professional and safe. We had a truly memorable flight, feeling welcome and in safe hands at all times. Breathtaking views and a skilled pilot. Breakfast was well planned with the restaurant, so hardly any waiting at all. To have photos shared afterwards was a very nice touch which we thoroughly appreciated.
We will happily recommend Balloon Aloft to everyone we know, and hopefully get up there again ourselves one day.
