What an awesome experience!! Love it every minute, everything so well organised and detailed explain. The pickup was on time and the flight was a blissfully beautiful moment I’ll never forget, staff were amazingly polite friendly and fun!! The breakfast was delicious didn’t expect such high quality on every aspect of the whole experience. You must try !!

Brilliant flight experience, highly recommended!

Thankfully the meeting point was only a 2 minute walk from our accommodation, so we were up at 5 am - which is a sleep in by hot air ballooning standards. We were on the mini-bus at 6.15 am and like two big kids for our very first balloon ride in Australia. There was a tiny bit of mist, but no fog and it was fascinating to see the pilot sending up a couple of test balloons (small!) to see how the wind was behaving at different levels… pretty much determined which way we drove out of town and which landing zone we’d be aiming for on the flight itself. In the other places we’ve ballooned there is usually a decent sized crew for inflation, deflation, packing the balloon away and setting up the champagne and breakfast post flight. Here it was the pilot, the bus driver and one crew member who took breakfast orders and checked us in. Hang on - figured it out - We were in fact the crew! Woo hoo - Total immersion ballooning experience. We will never tire of seeing a massive balloon slowly but surely inflate and float into the air - there were some first timers on the flight and I’m not entirely sure they appreciated the (lack of) gravity of the situation. Just wow. We were aloft by sunrise and gently cruising over the wineries and taking 360 degree photos. The basket was a bit over 50% capacity so lots of room to spread out. An enjoyable trip had by all and the fun just kept coming when we landed - aside from anything else seeing kangaroos bounding through vineyards was a pretty cool experience. Once on the ground we morphed from guests to crew once more and even got to walk inside the balloon as it was deflating helping to push the air out of it and then assist in rolling it up and stowing it in the trailer. Definitely a first for us. We jumped on the bus to headed back to town for breakfast at a local cafe and sparkling cocktails - local bubbles mixed with either guava or mango juice. All was well. Not quite the romance of popping corks in the field and the pilot laying out breakfast - but given the skeleton crew - seriously yummy and not a restaurant we would go to in the usual course of affairs. All in all a wonderful experience.

What more can I say! Clay & leo are the dream team! What an absolute bunch of legends. From start to finish, what a beautiful experience. The included breakfast venue and meal were top notch and finished the wonderful day perfectly. If you have the chance to balloon in mudgee please do yourself the favour and do so! You won't regret it. Keep up the amazing work guys. 😊

So much fun!! We had such a nice and friendly crew who took so much care of us. Although the early start at around 5am, it was such a relaxing and chill activity.

I went on the most amazing balloon ride with balloon aloft and pilot Andrew and crew Lachlan. The whole experience was absolutely beautiful, Andrew was so accommodating and informative throughout the whole flight. It was a once in a life time experience. I cannot thank the Balloon Aloft team enough I’m speechless.

Went hot air ballooning in Mudgee. Certainly a bucket list experience for sure! Both Andrew and Leo made the whole experience memorable and easy going, taking the time to ensure everyone understood what was happening a long every step of the way. Such a serene and surreal experience. For anyone on the fence about heights, it’s not as bad as you’d think. With a roomy padded basket there is plenty space to lean back, look far into the landscape and enjoy the peacefulness. Just don’t look down 😄

Amazing experience watching the sunrise over such stunning country! Such a friendly informative team shared their knowledge & expertise flying us over farm land, wineries & mountain ranges. Such a roomy basket, was suprised how much space there was so was still a personal experience for everyone. Breakfast was delicious! Can't wait to book again to experience different seasons

We had the most magical experience on our hot air balloon flight over Mudgee. The view is surreal and it is an experience like no other. I am usually a person afraid of heights and I must admit was anxious leading up to the flight but it was the most calming experience. Our pilot Andrew was amazing. He made us feel safe and he was so knowledgeable and experienced and even made a joke or two. Highly recommend this experience!

This was our first baloon experience. We had booked this for last year in Hunter valley but was cancelled due to rains. The rescheduling was easy. The credit was available for more than a year. Good customer experience. We did the balloon in Mudgee. The check in process was smooth. Andrew was a very nice pilot and he explained the working of ballooning. Overall a very satisfying experience.
