What do I need to know before booking?
- Hot Air Ballooning is a weather dependent activity
- This ticket type is refundable, but a fee will apply to cancellations made by you before your first scheduled flight date.
- Should your flight be cancelled due to unsuitable weather, you will be able to reschedule for up to 12 months or request a full refund.
- Your booking cannot be altered or cancelled within 72 hours of your flight.
- A $100 surcharge applies to bookings on Valentine’s Day

A hot air balloon ride is a wonderful way to propose, so why not make the special day even more memorable by flying in the Love Heart Balloon. Our big red love heart is the only balloon of its kind in Australia and is the ideal way to pop the question.
You and your partner will enjoy the full VIP treatment in an hour-long balloon ride for two in the Love Heart Balloon over the picturesque Hunter Valley, with champagne and chocolates during your flight. The package also includes the use of the “Will you marry me?” banner. This banner can be placed in our launch or landing field or along our flight path to create the perfect moment for you to pop the question.
